Discourse is The online home for your community, used for Support & Customer Success Online Community . Discourse is modern forum software for your community. Use it as a mailing list, discussion forum, long-form chat room, and more. Discourse will not work from an IP address, you must own a domain name such as example.com to proceed.

Prepare​

When referring to this document to use Discourse, please read and ensure the following points:

  • Login to Websoft9 Console and find or install Discourse:

    • Go to My Apps listing applications
    • Go to App Store installing target application

  • This application is installed by Websoft9 console.

  • The purpose of this application complies with the GPL-2.0 open source license agreement.

  • Configure the domain name or server security group opens external network ports for application access.

Getting started​

Login verification​

  1. After Completing the installation of Discourse in the Websoft9 console, get the applicaiton's overview and access credentials from My Apps

  2. Starting to verify the application
