Prepare​

When referring to this document to use OpenSearch, please read and ensure the following points:

  • Login to Websoft9 Console and find or install OpenSearch:

    • Go to My Apps listing applications
    • Go to App Store installing target application

  • This application is installed by Websoft9 console.

  • The purpose of this application complies with the apache2 open source license agreement.

  • Configure the domain name or server security group opens external network ports for application access.

Getting Started​

Initial Setup​

  1. After successfully installing OpenSearch from the Websoft9 Console, retrieve the application's Overview and Access details from My Apps.

Configuration Options​

  • Ensure the host parameter vm.max_map_count=262144 is set on Linux. This setting is automatically applied at application startup.

OpenSearch Not Starting?​

Ensure that the host parameter vm.max_map_count=262144 is correctly configured.

Panel Can't Connect to OpenSearch?​

Check that OPENSEARCH_HOSTS does not include an underscore (_) in the hostname.
